Cup 54

Today’s cup of kindness was purchased at Starbucks, zip code 97116. As I’m still out of town, attending a work conference, I was unable to use a drive-thru. I took my chances and searched for a patron in the store. I found her. She was a surprised and grateful 3rd grade teacher who graciously allowed me to cut in front of her–just so I could fulfill the daily mission.

As the orders rang up, at just a few bucks, she thanked me. She said that she has been teaching her students about random acts of kindness, and was thrilled to have a new experience to share with them. I also shared my enthusiasm, and told her she would be the teacher-patron-star of today’s blog. We both laughed. It was just awesome.

Here’s to another day. Another round of Fully Caffeinated Generosity and Hope. Until tomorrow.
